Iain Smith to exec produce ‘Year’
Monday, July 28th, 2008“Children of Men” producer Iain Smith has signed on to exec produce K. Lorrel Manning’s film “Happy New Year,” adapted from Manning’s stage play.
Pic is set in a run-down VA hospital and examines the lives of soldiers after they’ve come home from Iraq.
The original “Happy New Year” play premiered last year at the Barrow Group in “The War at Home,” a series of short plays.
